You are about to start the 'Residential & Home Care' situational judgement test.

You should assume you work for a home care company, and are about to start your first shift of the day. You have been asked to visit four clients during this shift, which is scheduled to run from 8.30am to 11am, and each visit is timetabled to last for 30 minutes.

You will be presented with a series of scenarios faced during visits to four clients. For each client there are four linked scenarios (i.e. four ‘steps’ to your visit), and at each step you are asked to decide how best to respond to the situation presented. In total there are therefore 16 ‘steps’ to deal with (i.e. 4 steps with each of 4 clients).

Your task is to read through each ‘step’ on your visit to a client, then rank each of the actions from Most Appropriate to Least Appropriate, with the 'most appropriate' action at the top and the 'least appropriate' at the bottom. You can rank each action by clicking and dragging it into the position you think is most appropriate.

EXAMPLE QUESTION

When you have ranked the four actions, move on to the next step and follow the same process.

There is no time limit, but you should expect to spend up to 15 minutes completing it.
