You are about to start an Advanced Numerical Reasoning Test.

This test is designed to measure your ability to recognise numerical patterns, work with ratios and proportions, and draw logical conclusions from quantitative information. Each question presents a short sequence or problem, followed by several possible answers. Your task is to select the one option that follows logically.

There are 3 different types of questions:

  1. Series Completion: Continue a sequence by identifying the underlying rule.
  2. Logical Computation: Solve problems involving ratios, proportions, and numerical relationships.
  3. Argument Analysis: Apply logical reasoning to budget allocations or numerical constraints to determine the correct conclusion.

You may find it helpful to have a pen or pencil, some paper for rough working and a calculator.

Work quickly but carefully. There are more questions than most people can complete in the time allowed, so do not spend too long on any single item. If you are unsure, make your best judgement and move on.
