What do Situational Judgement Tests assess?
A Situational Judgement Test or SJT is a psychometric assessment that gauges how individuals approach situations encountered in the workplace. The Leadership SJT is tailored to reflect scenarios typically faced by individuals in leadership positions, from middle management to executive roles, across various sectors.
Typical roles that would benefit from our Leadership SJT are:
1. Leaders
2. Senior Managers
3. Managing Directors
Overview of the Leadership SJT
Our Leadership SJT provides candidates with 16 unique situations related to everyday leadership challenges. Each scenario comes with 4 potential actions, asking respondents to select the most and least effective strategies. While the Leadership SJT is untimed, candidates typically take about 10-15 minutes to complete it.
This SJT evaluates key leadership competencies:
1. Inspirational Leadership: Articulating a clear vision and inspiring others to follow.
2. Strategic Decision-Making: Making informed decisions that shape the future of the organisation.
3. Change Management: Leading and managing organisational change effectively.
4. Role Model: Upholding and promoting the organisation's values and ethical standards.
